(1)Wedge single gate valves
①The structure is simpler than elastic gate valve.
②At higher temperatures, the sealing performance is not as good as elastic gate valve or double gate valve;
③Suitable for high temperature medium easy to coke.
(2)Resilient gate valve
It is a special form of wedge type single gate. Compared with wedge gate valve, the sealing performance is good at high temperature, and the gate is not easy to be stuck after being heated. Suitable for steam, high temperature oil, oil and gas and other media, and for frequent switching parts. Should not be used for easy coking medium.
(3)Double gate valve
①The sealing performance is better than wedge gate valve, such as sealing surface Angle and seat coordination is not very accurate, still has a good sealing performance;
②After the sealing surface of the gate is worn, the metal pad at the bottom of the spherical top center can be used by changing to a thicker one. Generally, it is not necessary to surface-weld and grind the sealing surface, which is difficult to achieve with single gate and elastic gate.
③More parts than other types of gate valves;
④In addition to suitable for steam, oil and other media, but also suitable for frequent switching parts and sealing surface wear of the media, not suitable for easy to coke medium.
(4)Parallel gate valve
①Poor sealing than other types of gate valves;
②Suitable for medium with lower temperature and pressure;
③In addition to the two fixed board on the two gate board is not easy to fall off, where the lead wire fixed two gate board is easy to fall off, use is not reliable.
④The sealing surface of gate and seat is easier to process and repair than other types of gate valves.
